The School of Music celebrated the grand opening of the Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU with almost nightly performances in April. Frog Corps, a male ensemble and university spirit group, performed the first public concert in the 717-seat venue. The adjustable acoustic panels above the stage and drapes hidden behind the wood screens were set for the choral performance but can be adapted for a variety of ensembles. Clad in their trademark purple sport coats and under the direction of Christopher Aspaas, director of choral activities, the Frog Corps performed several selections ranging from German composer Johannes Brahms to modern singer-songwriter Andy Grammer.
